Family: Briar's mother died when he was four and he never knew his father.
History: Roach's mother was killed when he was four and he was kicked out on to the streets. The Thief Lord took him and he learned to pick pockets and steal. By age ten, he had been arrested three times and was being sent to the docks for a short life of hard labor. Niko Goldeneye happened to be at his sentancing and instead took the boy to Winding Circle Temple. Roach took on the new name of Briar Moss at this point because of his love for plants. At Winding Cirlce, he was unable to live with the other boys and was sent to Discipline cottage along with Lady Sanriline fa Toren, Daja Kisobu, and Trisandra Chandler. The four had nothing in common, except the fact that they were mages. Briar studied under Rosethorn, one of the most accomplished plant mages of their time.
Appearances: He is five foot eleven, with dark hair, green eyes, and olive skin. His clothes are well made and move with him simply because they were made by his foster-sister Sandry. He has vine tattoos on his hands that move underneath his skin. He used them to cover up the double-X jailhouse tattoos that marked him as a thief.
